Las nominaciones para la 96a edición de los Premios Oscar 2024 ya fueron anunciadas oficialmente. La Academia dio a conocer la lista completa de nominados en las 24 categorías que competirán en la gala del 10 de marzo.
La más favorecida en nominaciones es la aclamada cinta Oppenheimer, que obtuvo 13 nominaciones incluyendo mejor película, mejor banda sonora, mejor director para Christopher Nolan, mejor actor de reparto para Robert Downey Jr. y mejor actriz de reparto para Emily Blunt.
Otra de las grandes contendientes es Poor Things (Pobres criaturas), la nueva colaboración de Yorgos Lanthimos y Enma Stone con 11 nominaciones. Le sigue Killers of the Flower Moon (Asesinos de la luna) de Martin Scorsese con 10 nominaciones, la cual está protagonizada por Robert De Niro, quien también compite por el premio Oscar al mejor actor.
También aspiran a obtener el galardón de mejor película American Fiction, Anatomy of a Fall (Anatomía de una caída), Barbie, Past Lives (Vidas pasadas) The Holdovers (Los que se quedan), The Zone of Interest (La Zona de interés) y Maestro.
